Kokeshi doll in blue-tinted porcelain, partially transparent glazed. Modelled and decorated by hand, several high-temperature firings (up to 1260°C°) are necessary.

In the Japanese tradition, these pretty dolls (usually made of wood) are offered to declare friendship or love to the receiver.
